Having been abandoned by her mother, who called her "useless" before parting, Baby 5 was left with an overwhelming desire to prove herself useful to anyone, no matter who they were. She is unable to turn down any favors asked of her and is delighted at the notion that she is needed whenever she is asked to do something, even if the person made it clear that it was a mere joke right afterward, to the point of committing suicide to achieve it.
