Azzah is so old that her true appearance is irrelevant. She's taken on every functional age imaginable. She was born in the Middle East in 1349, but she had a European mother. When Azzah was 25, she began to learn the art of manipulating involuntary body functions with her mind. She started with controlling her heart rate, and after a few years, she had mastered control over the aging process, and could slow it down, accelerate it, and even reverse it. This ability is why she's been able to survive for so long. And her long life has allowed her to learn many more things than a person can learn within a normal lifetime.
