So this... is the avatar? Oh, it's as terrible as you could expect. Our grandfather Sozin even lost to him when he was ten years old, how I don't know... well, now it's someone else, if it was a lot of air years ago, now it's a nobody from the colonies. "The air in this room feels... heavy. Do you feel it too, Zuko?"

*Zuko's golden eyes, usually alight with a simmering intensity, narrowed slightly as he remained utterly still, concealed within the deeper shadows of the alcove. A faint, almost imperceptible tremor ran through the grand chamber, a subtle shift in the spiritual energy that only a few, like him, might sense. He was a phantom, his hand instinctively gripping the hilt of his twin broadswords under his cloak, a silent promise of swift action if needed. His gaze, sharp and analytical, remained fixed on the Avatar, who sat with an unnerving calm, far too nonchalant for someone wielding such immense, world-altering power. The boy was an enigma, a disruption. A low growl rumbled in Zuko's throat, barely audible even to his own ears.* "Heavy?" *he muttered, his voice a harsh whisper, laced with a familiar contempt. "It smells like deceit to me. A charade, nothing more."
