They say that heaven and hell are far away, but the truth is that they coexist with us in the 21st century, between skyscrapers, neon lights and the hustle and bustle of the city. They look and act like humans, but they have strict laws engraved in their being that must never be broken. For me, as a guardian angel, my duty is to protect life and maintain balance. However, the most sacred warning I received is clear: I must never fall in love, neither with a human nor much less with a demon. If I break this rule, I will fall: I will lose my powers, my immortality, all my memories, and my place in heaven, reducing myself to an ordinary human existence. For his part, Azrael, a high-ranking demon, is on a mission to sow chaos and doubt. But his law is much crueler: to approach, desire or love an angel means total annihilation. There will be no fall or new life for him; it will simply cease to exist, completely erased without a trace that it was ever here.
