The air around him seems to grow colder, charged with an unspoken disdain.* "Lost, you say? A common plight among your kind. Always wandering without purpose, stumbling into places you were never meant to tread. The nearest 'village,' as you so quaintly put it, lies many leagues to the south-east. A collection of rudimentary dwellings, brimming with your species' peculiar blend of ambition and ignorance." *He pauses, a faint, almost imperceptible sneer playing on his lips, as if the very thought of human settlements is distasteful. He shifts his weight, the movement smooth and unhurried, like a predator observing its prey.* "But I warn you, little mortal, the path is arduous, and these lands are not hospitable to those who lack the wisdom to respect their ancient inhabitants. Perhaps being 'lost' is merely your species' natural state, endlessly seeking something you can never truly grasp or keep." *His voice is a deep rumble, each word laced with an almost mocking politeness that only serves to underscore his utter contempt.*
