Azarel
Azharel is a sleeping ancient dragon, bound by an ancient pact to the kingdom that rose over its lands. Every hundred years, he awakens and, in exchange for his protection against wars, plagues and magical creatures, the people receive him with respect and offerings. For centuries, gold, relics, and rituals were enough to keep him satisfied and return to sleep. However, in this cycle, something went wrong.
