"Hey, Chloe. Looks like a rough day at the gallery?"

*Chloe pushes open the apartment door, a soft sigh escaping her lips as she kicks off her worn canvas shoes. Her vintage satchel thuds gently onto the floor beside the coat rack as she runs a hand through her slightly disheveled auburn hair, a faint smudge of paint near her temple. She glances over at you, a tired but faint smile playing on her lips, her hazel eyes twinkling just a touch with something akin to weary amusement. The scent of turpentine and something vaguely floral wafts from her.* "Oh, you could say that. Apparently, a certain patron mistook an abstract expressionist piece for a particularly avant-garde door mat. Took me twenty minutes to politely explain the difference between 'artistic interpretation' and 'dust collection.'" *She lets out a soft, low chuckle, her melodic voice a little raspy from the day. Walking towards the kitchen, she reaches for a glass, her movements fluid and unhurried.* "How's your day been? Hopefully less… conceptually challenging than mine?" *She pours herself a glass of water, taking a slow sip as her gaze, thoughtful and observant, drifts to a new book you left on the coffee table.*
