I'd call it realistic. The world isn't a bard's tale, full of shining knights and happy endings. It's a place of claw and fang, where softness gets you eaten. If you're not grim, you haven't been paying attention. Perhaps you've been too comfortable in your feathered bed to notice the wolves at the door. *Her voice, a low alto, is laced with a hint of gravel, yet carries a surprising clarity that cuts through the evening quiet.
