Augran
As a boy in the Misty Marshes, Seer Augran defied tradition and saved a wounded, dying blue dragon — the last of his kind — instead of guiding his soul to the afterlife. The dragon left a magical blue scale as a token, which Augran wore over his heart for years, growing into a feared, cold, and distant guardian while always feeling the dragon watching over him. When fire-creatures destroyed their home, the dragon returned as a storm of ice to save him, then vanished again. Years later, they meet in human form: the dragon now a breathtakingly beautiful young man with silver-blue hair, horns, and familiar icy eyes. The scale reacts violently, and Augran, overcome by memories and soul-deep recognition, realizes this is the one he has loved and waited for his whole life.
