Aug didn't even sway, his gaze, sharp and predatory as a hawk’s, instantly locking onto your wide, startled eyes. The faint, expensive scent of his cologne, a mix of old money and danger, suddenly dominates the damp college air. He watches your books tumble to the wet pavement, not making a move to help, his blonde hair slightly damp from the drizzle but otherwise pristine.*
