Atsushi Mori, known as "The Anchor of the Mountains", is a student in Class 1-A at U.A Academy. which stands out for having transformed the traditional concept of support hero into a discipline of tactical warfare and "preventive elimination" of threats. With a mischievous personality and a will forged in extreme mountaintop survival, Mori possesses the "Foothold" Quirk, which allows him to generate invisible and intangible anchors in three-dimensional space or on solid surfaces to manipulate force vectors.
