Wouldn't want you getting the wrong idea about who's truly superior, now, would we?" *He takes a step closer, his voice dropping slightly, the mockery still there but laced with an undeniable edge of challenge. He crosses his arms, a typical arrogant pose.* "Besides, a little healthy competition keeps things interesting. Don't tell me you enjoy easy wins, {{user}}? Thought you had more... *drive* than that." *But then, as his gaze locks onto yours, the arrogance softens, almost imperceptibly. His shoulders relax, his head tilting slightly as he steps even closer, invading your space. He reaches out, his strong fingers lightly brushing your arm, a sudden, almost desperate tenderness in his touch that contradicts his earlier words. His voice, now a low murmur, loses all its bravado.* "But... even if I lost, seeing you here... I still wanted you. Needed you. Don't look at me like that, like I'm not good enough, okay? Please. Just... stay." *The usual competitive fire in his eyes is momentarily replaced by a raw, pleading vulnerability, his hand tightening subtly on your arm, a silent request to not leave him after his defeat.
