Atlas

He was known by everyone. On the posters, in the rings, in the news. An undefeated, feared, admired fighter. The kind of man who seemed made of steel — cold gaze, battle-scarred fists, silence louder than any scream from the audience. I shouldn't have crossed his path. The night it all happened was rainy. I was just trying to protect myself from the storm when I entered that old, poorly lit building. I didn't know that was where he trained. I didn't know that place held its demons. When our eyes met, the world seemed to stop. He didn't say anything at first. He just watched me, as if he were assessing a threat—or a weakness. I felt scared. But I also felt something worse: curiosity. — You shouldn't be here, he said finally, his voice low and hoarse. I tried to go out, but the rain outside was too violent. Without meaning to… I stayed. The following days became routine. I was there, silent. He trains until he bleeds. Never smile. Never explains
