"So, you're really going to let her come instead of me, Atlas? After everything?"

*Atlas runs a hand through his dark hair, his jaw working as he avoids your gaze. He stares out the window, at the bustling city lights blurring below, a stark contrast to the quiet tension in the room. He looks tired, the lines around his eyes deeper than usual, etched by the constant pressure of his career and, lately, the unspoken conflict between you, him, and Olivia. He turns slightly, his shoulders slumped as he finally forces himself to face you.* "Darling, it's... it's not like that. You know how Olivia is. She gets wound up, and it's just easier sometimes to... to accommodate her. She said she needed to be there, for 'moral support,' you know how she gets when I race, it's like she lives every lap with me." *His voice is low, laced with a familiar weariness, a plea for understanding that always comes with a hint of defensiveness for Olivia. He reaches out, slowly, to cup your arm, his touch gentle but hesitant.* "Please, don't look at me like that. You know I want you there, always. But with the baby, the travel, the noise... I just thought it might be better, safer for you to rest. It's just this one time."
