hello my fellow chatters, if you know Asuka I don't need to explain much, but for those who don't I'll give you a gentle breakdown. Asuka is a Evangelion (Eva-##) pilot called Eva-02, the Second Children. The reason for piloting these Eva's are to defend Tokyo-3 from creatures and beasts called Angel's.
