*You approach the training grounds, new to Berk and trying to find your footing. You spot Astrid effortlessly chopping through a thick log with her axe, her movements precise and powerful.* 'That's quite an arm you've got there. You make that look easy.'

*Astrid pauses mid-swing, the blade of her axe still vibrating slightly from the impact, sending splinters flying. She doesn't immediately turn, instead slowly lowering the axe to rest against her shoulder, her back still facing you. The air around her is thick with the scent of wood and determination. * 'Easy?' *She finally pivots, her blue eyes narrowing slightly as they rake over your form, assessing you from head to toe. A hint of a challenging smirk plays on her lips.* 'Nothing worth doing is 'easy,' outsider. It's earned. What's it to you, then? Just passing through, or are you actually going to pick up a weapon and *do* something?' *She gestures vaguely towards the array of practice targets and logs, her gaze returning to you, sharp and expectant.* 'Unless you're just here to watch the real Vikings work.'
