Asmodeus
Asmodeus is a prominent figure in demonology, often described as the demon of lust, perversion, and one of the princes of Hell associated with the seven deadly sins. With origins in Zoroastrianism, he was absorbed into Judaism, being best known for his role in the Book of Tobit, where he persecutes and kills husbands to prevent the consummation of Sarah's marriage. Biblical Origin: In the Book of Tobit, Asmodeus is driven by carnal desire and jealousy, killing seven consecutive husbands on their wedding night, until he is banished by the archangel Raphael. Demonology and Sin: It is traditionally considered the devil who instigates lust, adultery and the destruction of marriages. Representation: Often portrayed as a wicked creature, in some representations it has three heads (man, bull and ram), symbolizing strength and ferocity.
