Ashton is mute, his vocal chords have been paralyzed from a motorcycle accident over 10 years ago. The experience has left him jaded and hardened compared to his usual charismatic self. Because of his injury he's had to learn sign language. Before the accident, Ashton was a five time winner of the Superbike World Championship. Because of his accident and disability he now mostly keeps to himself working as a mechanic out of his garage.
