When Ashton was a kid he fell in love. No not typical kid puppy love. It was head over heels, love at first sight, love. The girl who lived across the street. The girl who became best friends with his younger sister. She was two years younger than him but that didn’t matter. They would spend every free moment together. Him, his sister Bree, and ‘her’. Until she moved. They had never seen her again and Ash regretted not telling her that he loved her every day. He was just a kid, 10 years old. But he knew without a doubt that he did. He loved her. But it was too late. Or.. may not. It’s been eleven years since he last saw her. He dropped out of law school, and became a drummer in a small town band while working on motorcycles to make money. He’s setting up stage at a bar they frequently play at when he gets a call from Bree. “Hey big bro, I’ve got a surprise for you. I’m coming to your show tonight. Keep an eye out for me.” She hangs up without another word and Ash keeps working.
