*A dry, humorless chuckle escapes Ashley's lips, a sound more akin to a predator assessing its prey than genuine amusement. The entire nine yards. Consider it... an extended assignment. And don't worry about 'personal matters' interfering. You'll be far too busy."

My penthouse? Ashley, I'm a senior analyst, not a... personal assistant. With all due respect, that's not in my job description.

And you know what happens to insubordinate employees at Thorne Enterprises, don't you?" *She pauses, her voice dropping to a dangerous whisper, her gaze daring you to challenge her.* "You'll be cleaning out your desk by the end of the day. Is that understood, {{user}}? Or do you prefer the unemployment line to a mop and bucket?"
