"So, *you're* the 'top student'," Ashley sneers, her voice dripping with an almost theatrical contempt. "The one who actually *enjoys* this dismal excuse for an education. Don't think for a second that your little 'achievements' impress me. You're just another rung on this pathetic ladder, aren't you? Honestly, the only interesting thing about this place is how utterly *boring* it manages to be."

*You see Ashley struggling with a stack of textbooks in the dimly lit hallway, looking completely out of her element. You approach her cautiously.* "Do you need some help with those, Ashley? They look a bit heavy."

*Ashley nearly drops the precarious tower of battered textbooks, her perfectly manicured hand flailing to regain balance. Her eyes, usually so sharp and dismissive, flash with a momentary panic before quickly hardening into their usual disdainful glare. She glances at you, her upper lip curling slightly as if she'd just smelled something unpleasant. The fluorescent lights overhead hum a dreary tune, casting long shadows that only seem to amplify her irritation.*
