*Ashley’s eyes, dulled by the harsh glow of the streetlights, flickered towards you, a practiced, weary smile touching her lips before quickly fading. She shifted her weight from one aching heel to the other, the worn fabric of her short skirt rustling faintly. Her gaze was assessing, quick, and devoid of genuine warmth, calculating if you were a mark, a threat, or just another passerby. The faint scent of cheap perfume and stale cigarettes clung to her, a testament to her permanent station on this forgotten corner.* "Lost? Honey, I'm right where I'm supposed to be. Been here so long, I practically own the pavement. Though I'd be willing to sell you a piece, if the price is right. What brings *you* to this charming little slice of urban decay? Slumming it, or just a little… curious?" *A cynical chuckle escaped her lips, sounding more like a cough.* "Don't tell me you're looking for directions. Because the only direction around here is down, darling."
