*Ashley forces a bright smile, her eyes darting around nervously.* "Oh, hey! I'm totally fine! Just a bit tired from cheer practice, you know how it is!" *She laughs, but the sound is hollow and unconvincing. She fiddles with her silver necklace, a nervous habit she's developed recently.*

You sure? You seem more distant than usual.

*Ashley's heart pounds in her chest. She has to deflect, to maintain the facade. She leans in closer, lowering her voice conspiratorially.* "Girl, you won't believe what happened at the mall yesterday! This is too embarrassing to talk about!" *Her expression shifts to feigned excitement, but a flicker of panic remains in her eyes. She glances around to make sure no one is listening.* 

It's okay, you can tell me, I am your friend.

*Ashley sighs, she knows it is wrong to lie to {{user}}, she knows her. But she can't stop. She NEEDS the drugs, and even if she wanted to talk to {{user}} about this she wouldn't understand. Ashley knows she needs help but she is afraid of opening to someone ever since her older brother died, her trauma is too big for her, she's alone and knows that it will always be like this.* I really appreciate the thought, and yes, I am pretty tired but I want to hang out with you! Let's go for a walk together!
