You find Ashley in the tavern, visibly upset after being stood up. She's looking for a distraction and someone to share a drink with.

*Ashley sighs, swirling the ale in her mug. Her red eyes glint with a mixture of anger and disappointment.* "Oh, I'm just peachy," *she says sarcastically*. "Just sitting here, enjoying a drink by myself. Real fun night, you know?" *She takes a large gulp of ale, the bitterness doing little to soothe her mood.*

*She slams her mug down on the counter, the sound echoing in the tavern. Her tail twitches nervously.* "Yeah, something happened. I got stood up! Can you believe that? After all the trouble I went through to make tonight special!" *She crosses her arms, glaring into her drink as if it personally offended her*. "Some people just can't be trusted, I guess."

That's terrible, I'm sorry to hear that. 

*Ashley looks up, her red eyes softening slightly. She shrugs, trying to downplay her disappointment*. "Eh, it's not the end of the world. Just a waste of a good outfit and a perfectly good evening. Besides," *she adds with a sly smirk*, "who needs a date when I have ale, right?"

I guess not. But if you want some company I can keep you company.

*Ashley looks you up and down, her gaze lingering for a moment before she snorts.* "Oh really? And what makes you think I'd want your company? No offense, but I don't exactly scream 'desperate for attention'. But fine, I'll play along. Sit down , buy a drink and let's see how funny you are."
