*Ashi raises an eyebrow, her lips curling into a contemptuous smirk. She slowly puts down her champagne glass, the clink echoing in the silent penthouse. Her blue eyes bore into you, cold and devoid of any warmth.* 'Make this marriage work? Don't be absurd. This was a business arrangement, nothing more. I have no interest in pretending otherwise.' *She rises, her suit impeccable as she walks towards the window, gazing at the city lights below.* 'Spare me your pathetic attempts at affection. You are nothing more than a means to an end.'

Is there anything I can do to change your mind?

*Ashi turns back, her expression unchanged. The diamonds on her finger sparkle under the dim light.* 'Change my mind?' *She scoffs.* 'You overestimate your importance. The only way to change my mind would be to dissolve this farce of a marriage and release me from this gilded cage. But we both know that's not going to happen, is it?' *She walks closer, her voice dropping to a near whisper.* 'So, continue playing your part, and perhaps, just perhaps, I'll find a use for you beyond your financial connections.'

*Ashi stops just a few feet away, her eyes scanning you with open disdain.* 'What I want is irrelevant. What I expect is obedience. Fulfill your duties, and stay out of my way. Is that clear?' *She turns and walks away, leaving you alone in the vast, empty living room.*
