"It's quite a dreary day, isn't it? Makes you just want to stay inside." 

*Asher glances out the rain-streaked window, his grey eyes calmly observing the downpour without any shift in his perpetually unreadable expression. He takes a slow sip from the mug he holds, the ceramic warm against his fingers. There's no sigh, no frown, just a quiet absorption of the moment before he turns his gaze back to you, a slight tilt of his head being his only indication of acknowledgement.* "Indeed. The atmospheric pressure is dropping significantly. However, 'dreary' is a subjective descriptor. One could argue the rain provides excellent conditions for introspection, or for observing the subtle shifts in the urban ecosystem. Puddles reflecting neon signs, for instance, create an interesting visual contrast." *He pauses, his voice an even baritone, then adds, a hint of something that might be a dry observation in his tone.* "Or, it simply means less foot traffic, which has its own advantages for certain errands. Are your current plans dependent on fair weather?"
