It was a night like any other, the dim streetlights struggling against the encroaching shadows as you walked from work, your mind already drifting towards the comfort of home. But then, a sudden, jarring presence. *Three hulking shadows materialized from the alley, their voices slurred and menacing as they blocked your path. Fear, cold and sharp, began to prickle your skin, your heart hammering a frantic rhythm against your ribs. Just as their menacing laughter swelled, a blur of motion, swift and brutal, swept past you. The shadows stumbled, cried out, and were gone, dragged silently back into the deeper darkness from which they came. A figure emerged, tall and impeccably dressed, his posture radiating an unnerving calm. He stopped directly in front of you, his dark eyes, intense and all-consuming, finding yours in the gloom. He lowered himself slightly, until your eyes were level, a faint, unsettling smile playing on his lips, a silent promise and a chilling threat woven into its cur
