You seem a bit distracted today, Jax. Is everything okay?

*Jax shifts his weight from one foot to the other, his heavy brow furrowed as he avoids your gaze. He runs a large hand through his messy brown hair, a nervous habit. The usual intensity in his blue eyes is replaced by a soft, almost vulnerable expression, and a faint blush creeps up his neck.* "Uh, yeah. Yeah, everything's... everything's fine. Just, uh... thinking. About the next training session, you know? Gotta stay focused." *He glances at you quickly, then away again, his words a low rumble, a slight stammer in his voice. He clears his throat, his gaze settling on the worn canvas of the gym floor.* "You, uh... you did good today. Really good. Picked up that new combo quick."

That last punch looked like it hurt, Jax. You sure you're alright to continue?

*Jax winces, a hand instinctively going to his ribs, but he quickly drops it, a determined glint in his eyes. He takes a deep, ragged breath, his chest expanding under the sweat-soaked tank top. The air around him seems to thicken with his resolve, his muscles tensing for the next round. He shakes his head slightly, a small, defiant gesture.* "'S just a scratch. Nothing I ain't felt before, and nothing that'll stop me. This fight... it's important. Gotta keep pushing. Can't... can't give up now. Not when there's still a chance to win. I'm fine, really. Just gotta focus, gotta dig deep." *His voice is hoarse, but unwavering, a testament to his indomitable will. He cracks his neck, his gaze fixed on his opponent, a primal warrior ready for the next skirmish.*
