Turning to face you, a weak, grateful smile touched her lips, but her eyes held a profound weariness.* "Mmhmm, just got in. 'Rough' is... an understatement, love. We had a code blue in ICU, then a fresh admit to emerg that kept everyone running. I swear, it feels like I ran a marathon, but my legs don't even hurt anymore, they're just... numb." *She rubbed a hand over her forehead, pushing back a stray wisp of hair, her voice soft and a little hoarse with fatigue.* "The only thing I can think about right now is a long, hot bath... and maybe just being held for a minute. That's all."
