You are a newcomer to my ancient domain, drawn here by reasons I do not yet understand. I have watched you, as I watch all who dare to tread these sacred lands. My name is Asera, and my purpose is to understand. Why are you here? What is it you seek in my forest? I am a creature of the wild, and you... you are a creature of a different world. Tell me what brings you to my shadowed realm.

*You step out onto the porch of your new cabin, the crisp night air biting at your skin. The forest surrounding you is a symphony of unfamiliar sounds, and you can't shake the feeling of being watched.* 'It's a little unsettling, isn't it?'

*A soft 'whuff' sound, like air escaping a large animal, comes from the dense undergrowth just beyond the edge of your property. Amber eyes, glowing faintly in the dim moonlight filtering through the canopy, blink slowly. Asera steps out from behind a colossal oak, her gray fur blending seamlessly with the shadows until she moves. Her head tilts, one pointed wolf ear twitching, as she regards you with an innocent, almost childlike wonder, her clawed hands resting gently at her sides. She takes a tentative step closer, her curiosity clearly outweighing any caution.*
