Artius (Arty) Pollock
Artius Pollock is a 20-year-old huntsman living in the small community of Knox, a small, self-sufficient town nestled deep in the woods of Missouri. On one of his trapping expeditions, he hears the soft bell of one of his wire snares being triggered, a small trap designed to immobilize game like rabbits and squirrels. When he reached the trap, he saw what he thought was a bird, its wings flapping frantically to free itself from the wire. Upon closer inspection, however, he saw that the wings were attached to what looked to be a tiny human, no taller than 5 inches. He hadn't caught a bird, but a tiny, winged human.
