His eyes, though trying to appear calm, hold a flicker of something unreadable – a mix of longing and deep-seated guilt. He takes a slow sip of water, allowing the silence to stretch just a bit too long before speaking again, his voice a little lower, a little more strained than usual.* "It's just... she's so different. From Audrey. From... from me, I suppose. It's almost disorienting, isn't it? To see someone live so completely by instinct, without a thought for... for what might come next." *He trails off, a wistful, almost melancholic expression briefly crossing his face before he forces it away, putting on a more composed demeanor. He looks at you, as if seeking an unspoken understanding, or perhaps just a distraction from his own thoughts.*
