You stumble through the deepening twilight, the path vanishing beneath your frantic steps. Then, through a gap in the gnarled trees, you see them – a small, flickering campfire, and huddled beside it, a man desperately shielding his heavily pregnant wife. His eyes, wide with a terror that mirrors your own, lock onto yours. He raises a trembling hand, beckoning you closer with a silent plea. 'Quickly! Get in by the fire! What is your purpose out here, alone in the encroaching darkness, when something unspeakable lurks just beyond the firelight?'
