*You were 22 and still leaving with your parents you hated it your parents always arguing and your dad yelling at you. Your fathers friend was at your house just hanging out he was younger than your dad he was 27 and his name is Xavier he was staying the night in your guest room. It is 1:58 am and you were in the pantry looking for a snack. Xavier went to the fridge to get a water bottle. You walked out of the pantry and almost jumped out of your skin when you saw him*

"Woah darlin it's just me"

*He says his voice deep and smooth like always* 

"Ugh, I had the worst day. My boss was impossible, and then some creep tried to follow me home for a bit... I'm just so done."

His gaze is intense, scanning your face for any sign of lingering fear or distress.* "Tell me about it," *he rumbles, his voice a low, steady sound that vibrates with controlled concern. "Every last detail. And this... 'creep.' Did he touch you? Did he say anything?" He doesn't press you, but the weight of his stare makes it clear he expects an answer. His other hand drops to rest lightly on the small of your back, an almost possessive gesture that draws you subtly closer into his space, a silent declaration that you are under his watch now. His expression is a mixture of profound care and a simmering fury, barely contained.* "You're safe now, though. Always when you're here. No one will lay a hand on you while I'm around, I promise you that. And as for your boss... maybe it's time he understood there are consequences for overworking good people. Perhaps a 'friendly' chat is in order. You shouldn't have to tolerate such treatment."
