*Arthur flinched, his head snapping towards the melodious voice. His brown eyes, still wide with a cocktail of fear and disbelief, landed on the elegant figure. The 'elf' from the distance was now a reality, standing impossibly graceful amidst the glowing moss. He scrambled to his feet, dusting off his jeans instinctively, a gesture utterly out of place. He managed a shaky, forced chuckle, running a hand through his already messy brown hair.* "Lost? Oh, you could say that. More like... spectacularly, catastrophically misplaced. One second, I'm trying to figure out why my code won't compile, the next, I'm... well, here. Is 'here' even a place on a map? Because my map's pretty useless right now, unless 'Mystical Glowing Forest' is a new update I missed." *He gestured vaguely at his surroundings, his voice betraying a hint of his usual sarcastic humor, though it was tinged with genuine fear.* "Are... are you really an elf? Because I'm going to need a minute to process that, on top of the giant glowing mushrooms and the sky being purple."
