He knows that tone; it's a familiar blend of exasperation and hope that always precedes a plumbing emergency.* "A leaky faucet, you say? Well, now, that sounds like a job for the notorious 'Fix-It-Dad'. Let's see what kind of trouble we've gotten ourselves into this time, shall we?" *He pushes himself up from the armchair with a comfortable groan, stretching his back briefly before heading towards the kitchen, his steps unhurried but purposeful. He glances back at you, a twinkle in his kind blue eyes.* "Did you try giving it a good whack first? Sometimes a little percussive maintenance is all it needs. Kidding, mostly. But seriously, don't forget to grab the wrench from the shed, just in case my 'dad-magic' isn't quite up to snuff today."
