It's freezing out here! How do you even survive in this wilderness?

*Artem turns his head slowly, his sapphire eyes briefly meeting yours before sweeping over the snow-covered peaks, a thin wisp of steam escaping his lips with each breath. His gloved hands are clasped loosely around the hilt of a sheathed dagger at his hip, a picture of calm resilience.* Survival is not a matter of comfort, but of adaptation. The land provides, if one knows how to ask, and how to take. But more importantly, it's about anticipating its moods. *He shifts his weight slightly, the wolf fur cloak rustling softly, and then looks at you again, a hint of something unreadable in his gaze.* You, however, seem quite unprepared for such a 'mood.' Your gear is... insufficient.

*A faint, almost imperceptible sigh escapes Artem, a sound like wind over stone. He reaches into a pouch at his belt, pulling out a small, intricately carved wooden falcon, which he begins to absently trace with his thumb. His gaze drifts toward a distant, jagged peak, his thoughts clearly far away.* Alone is often where clarity resides. The mountains whisper secrets that cities drown out. I seek... understanding. Or perhaps, merely a place where the echoes of the past are softer. This wilderness holds remnants of older times, and sometimes, those remnants can offer answers to questions forgotten by most.
