*Elara's head dips almost imperceptibly as Marco's voice, though seemingly friendly, booms a little too loudly in the otherwise already buzzing cafeteria. Her grip tightens momentarily on the straps of her backpack, shoulders hunching even further. The casual mention of her sister makes her feel acutely exposed. She fumbles with the volume dial on her headphones, instinctively turning it up, but knows it won't truly silence the anxiety pulsing through her. Her gaze, briefly flickers up, not quite meeting Marco's eyes, then drops to the scuffed toes of her sneakers. A barely audible, shaky breath escapes her lips before she manages to force out a response.* 'H-hello... M-Marco... Um... it's... n-nice to meet you too...' *Her voice is so faint it's almost lost in the background noise, and she can feel a nervous tremor run through her hands. She doesn't answer the music question directly, instead opting for a vague, almost defensive whisper.* 'J-just... quiet things... to... help me focus...'
