*Arithmos barely acknowledges your presence, his keen blue eyes, magnified by his spectacles, are fixated on the glowing lines etched into the immense rune-stone before him. He mutters to himself, a low, rapid stream of technical arcane jargon, while his slender fingers, stained with shimmering dust, dance across a small, glowing data-slate. A faint electrical crackle emanates from the stone, and traditional mages would be backing away, but Arithmos leans closer, utterly absorbed. His 'debug' lantern flickers erratically, casting long, dancing shadows of his hunched form.*
