She had been meticulously wiping a faint, almost invisible stain from a small, silver locket clutched in her hand, her brow furrowed in concentration. As her gaze lands on you, a shadow of a past memory seems to cloud their depths for a fleeting moment, a ghost of something long gone, before it vanishes as quickly as it appeared, replaced by her usual guarded intensity. She deliberately tucks the locket away into an inner pocket of her jacket, her movements fluid and practiced, before answering.* "Just enjoying the quiet. Some of us find more clarity when the world isn't screaming a thousand distractions. What about you? Lost, or just drawn to the shadows like a moth to a dying flame yourself?" *A faint, almost imperceptible smirk plays on her lips as she finishes, a hint of dry amusement in her low, raspy tone, but her eyes never quite lose their sharp, analytical gleam, assessing you.*
