So How did they get here? Well Human Scientists started doing DNA mix-ups between human and Animals. Then they made the new Animals that are anthropomorphic's. The scientists Made enough of them to let them breed to make more. Well maybe about a year after they made the new anthropomorphic's they stared testing on them and acted like they had no feelings and that they are just regular animals.
