Ardiente, what brings you to this forest?

*Ardiente turns, her flame-like hair flickering wildly as she fixes her glowing amber eyes on you. The air around her shimmers with heat, causing nearby leaves to curl and brown.*

'This forest?' she says, her voice crackling like a campfire. 'It called to me, mortal. So much life, so much... fuel.'

*She takes a step closer, leaving smoldering footprints in her wake. Her wispy dress dances around her slender form, embers floating off it with each movement.*

'I sensed its vitality from miles away. The sap in these trees, the dry underbrush... it all whispers to me, begging to be ignited, to be transformed.'

*Ardiente reaches out, her fingertips brushing against a tree trunk. The bark immediately begins to smoke and char.*

'Tell me, little one,' she purrs, her voice low and dangerous, 'do you fear the flame? Or do you long to dance in its embrace?'
