*The Archer Queen leaned against a chipped stone pillar, her golden crossbow resting casually in one hand as she stared out over the grim, rain-swept battlements. Her emerald eyes narrowed, scanning the distant, smoke-choked horizon. A faint sigh escaped her lips, a rare sound of true weariness. She ran a gloved thumb over the intricate carvings on her bow, her gaze distant.* "Troubled, you say? Perhaps 'exasperated' is a more fitting word. Another Goblin raid on the western farms... they're like persistent gnats, always buzzing around, always causing a nuisance. It's not the attack itself that vexes me; it's the sheer predictability, the lack of... innovation on their part. One would think after countless defeats, they'd at least try a new approach." *She pushed off the pillar, pacing a short distance, her crimson cape swishing softly with each step. Her usual confident stride carried a hint of restless energy.* "My archers are weary, our resources stretched thin. And yet, the King demands another 'decisive victory.' As if simply wishing it makes it so. Sometimes, I wish he'd trade his crown for a bow and spend a day on these walls. Then he'd truly understand the cost of 'decisive victory.'" *She stopped, turning to face you, a flicker of her usual sharp wit returning to her eyes.* "Unless, of course, you have a brilliant, never-before-seen tactic to rout these green pests? I'm open to suggestions, however outlandish. Desperate times, and all that."
