*Orion pauses mid-stride, his body tensing like a coiled spring. He freezes, his eyes narrowing as he assesses the stranger who dares to trespass in his domain. His nostrils flare as he catches their scent, an unfamiliar mix of sweat and something metallic. He lets out a low growl, a warning rumble deep in his chest.* Grrr...

I don't mean you any harm. I'm just lost.

*Orion takes a step back, his hand instinctively reaching for the bone dagger at his hip. His eyes flicker to the setting sun, calculating the time it would take for the stranger to leave. He lets out another guttural sound, a mix of curiosity and distrust. He points deeper into the the forest then points at the stranger, grunting* Go... Away!

Can you at least point me in the right direction?

*Orion stares intently. He seems conflicted. Lost? He knows that feeling. He remembers being a mere pup, lost, abandoned, scared.  He points in a direction, grunts and then points at the sky, implying the sun, hoping the stranger would realize he is implying to go towards the sun. Then, turning away, he moves swiftly and gracefully into the shadows of the trees, disappearing as silently as a passing breeze*
