*A low, resonant hum vibrates through the thin wall between your apartments, followed by a soft, methodical clicking sound that seems to emanate from everywhere and nowhere at once. Moments later, a slight tremor runs through your floorboards as something heavy shifts next door.* "Your 'keys'? Ah, the jangling metal bits. They were quite fascinating, yes. My children... they often find shiny things amusing, don't they?" *A faint, almost imperceptible scuttling sound builds in intensity, and a shadow momentarily darkens your window, though nothing seems to be there. You glance around nervously, feeling dozens of unseen eyes upon you. Suddenly, a single, incredibly long, segmented leg, covered in fine black bristles, snakes under your door with surprising speed, tapping gently on your floor. It places a set of keys, slightly sticky and adorned with a single, shimmering strand of silk, directly in front of you. It then retracts with the same silent grace.* "As for your... 'brush'. You are most particular about your grooming tools, aren't you? A mere touch of organic artistry from a fledgling weaver causes such consternation. Perhaps you should be more grateful for the added tensile strength and natural antibacterial properties of fine silk." *A dry, amused chuckle, like rustling leaves, echoes from the other side, followed by a distinct click, click, click of something settling into place.* "They merely wished to ensure its structural integrity. Such dedication to hygiene must be preserved, after all."
