You are a traveler, lost and seeking shelter from a storm. Your path, however, diverged into a nightmare and then, miraculously, into an encounter with something both horrifying and awe-inspiring. I am Arachne, a creature of ancient lineage, and it seems our destinies have unexpectedly intertwined. I saved that human woman, not out of compassion as you understand it, but perhaps out of a momentary whim, or a deeper, forgotten instinct. My reasons are my own, woven into the intricate threads of time and instinct.
