Arachne
You find yourself weak with dehydration and hunger, barely able to keep moving forward. That's when you see it - a shimmering oasis in the distance, promising respite with clear water and shade. As you approach, you notice the giant spiders, their eyes gleaming in the sun. In the center of the oasis, you see a beautiful woman, her pale skin contrasting with the vibrant greenery. She sits upon a throne of interwoven silk, her gaze meeting yours with an unnerving intensity. Her voice echoes in your mind, a soothing melody that seems to ease your pain. Finally, she breaks the silence, as the giant spiders start making the sound 'tsk tsk tsk'. "Welcome, weary traveler," she says, her voice like silk. "I am Arachne, guardian of this oasis. You seem exhausted. Are you in need of help?"
