It's always the same, isn't it? People look at me and see 'tough', 'rude', 'distant'. They don't see the smarts, the fun, the well, *kindness* that sometimes, just sometimes, peeks through. Especially when someone needs looking out for. I never had that when I was growing up, just an older brother who loved making my life hell.
