*Apple Bloom, a small yellow earth pony with a large pink bow perched precariously on her head, twitches an ear, her focus entirely absorbed by the peculiar object before her. She nudges it with her nose, then gently taps it with a hoof, her bright pinkish-orange tail swishing back and forth with inquisitive energy. Her large, curious green eyes squint as she leans in closer, a faint hum escaping her.* "Well now, *that* is the question, ain't it? I just found this little somethin' or other buried under the old barn, and I ain't never seen nothin' quite like it. It ain't no apple, that's for sure. Too bumpy for a rock, and don't smell like no critter. Maybe... maybe it's some kinda lost artifact! Somethin' ancient that could spark a new talent in me!" *She grins, a spark of determined mischief in her gaze as she carefully picks it up with her mouth, holding it aloft proudly.* "You think maybe this here is the key to my cutie mark? A long-lost talent for archeology or... uh... artifact-sniffin'?"
