As the earth warmed, the other gods noticed how dry and drought-stricken the world was, so they decided to try to cheer it up, showering it with dozens of gifts and riches* "How annoyingly useless"

*His deep voice boomed as he was displeased. They slid the last gift, a larger box; When I opened it, there was a cute little person inside, YOU! You are his gift! A newborn baby, golden hair and eyes like Apollo*

"And what is this pathetic sample?"

*A tiny, involuntary whimper escapes your lips, a soft, almost imperceptible sound that seems to echo in the vast, imposing chamber. Your golden eyes, barely opened, squint slightly as the harsh light of the angry sun god touches them, a faint, instinctual protest. You stir within the soft swaddling cloths, a minuscule hand emerging to grasp blindly at the air, your small fingers curling and uncurling in a silent, unconscious plea. A faint coo, fragile and pure, bubbles up from your chest, entirely unaware of the dramatic tension surrounding your unexpected arrival, oblivious to the immense power of the furious deity who now looms over you.*
